DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for credible and motivated Operational Generalist with a “whatever it takes” attitude.

The main responsibility of this position is to provide accurate and efficient Warehouse and onsite Quality Customer support with safety being a priority.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Always focus on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to.Driving and delivery responsibilities include loading trucks, delivering to customer sites, and assisting sales professionals with customer feedback. (Estimated 25%) Must complete daily vehicle inspection and make direct supervisor aware of any issues that might require attention.Various Warehouse activities, including but not limited to- picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away. (Estimated 75%)Prepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as required.Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management.Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisors in alignment with other members of the management team.Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management.


Skills and Requirements:

Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical with drug screen.Detail oriented and self-motivated. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.Valid Driver’s License. (Vehicle Transit Van up to 26” box truck a plus)Experienced with warehouse equipment including forklifts, electric pallet trucks, elevated work platforms, and manual pallet jacks. (Preferred) Experience with handheld equipment, like RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets. (Preferred) Basic computer skills a must, AS400 experience a plusHigh school diploma / GED equivalent.
