About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Sales Representative to manage and grow retail accounts across supermarket chains and wholesalers. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys being in the field, building strong partnerships, and driving sales results.

What You’ll Do

Account Management

  • Open, service, and grow accounts within your assigned territory

  • Monitor inventory levels, damages, credits, slow-moving items, expirations, and new product launches

  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding balances and resolve payment issues

  • Maintain accurate receivables and account records

Sales Execution

  • Place customer orders Monday–Friday by 3:00 PM (orders submitted 48 hours in advance)

  • Execute planograms and support new store setups

  • Participate in in-store events including product samplings, grand openings, resets, and promotions

Customer Relationships

  • Build strong, professional relationships with store managers and key decision-makers

  • Follow through on all customer and internal commitments

  • Resolve DSD discrepancies promptly (unresolved issues may impact commissions)

  • Maintain a professional appearance and voicemail on company-issued mobile device

Team & Company Engagement

  • Attend EMD trade shows, weekly Friday conference calls (3:30 PM), and monthly sales meetings (8:00 AM)

  • Adjust schedule during holidays and peak retail periods (Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.)

Compliance & Operations

  • Follow company policies regarding professionalism and confidentiality

  • Stay current on product knowledge, pricing, promotions, and store programs

  • Use the AT&T Workforce Tracking System as required

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing

  • Vehicle insurance with $300,000 combined single limit

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

  • Prior sales experience (retail, wholesale, or food distribution a plus)

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and customer-focused mindset
