What You’ll Do

  • Design and produce construction drawings for industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Apply IIAR design standards and mechanical codes to real-world projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and drafters to meet project goals.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed drawings for ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems.
  • Understand and apply corporate, client, and CAD design standards.
  • Meet project deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and presentation quality.
  • Support drafting and design goals as defined by supervisors and clients.
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration to streamline design processes.

Requirements:
  • 1–5 years of experience in refrigeration or HVAC engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • EIT or PE certification preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with IIAR standards and industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or REVIT is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
