Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable HVAC Helper to support our facilities and cultivation operations. This position assists in maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems critical to maintaining precise environmental controls in our cannabis grow and processing areas.

The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in hands-on work, has a strong attention to detail, and is eager to learn the unique HVAC requirements of the cannabis industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of climate control systems.

  • Support troubleshooting efforts for HVAC units, chillers, dehumidifiers, and other environmental systems.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces.

  • Help perform filter changes, duct cleaning, and basic maintenance tasks.

  • Ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations and facility SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

  • Assist with documentation of maintenance and repair logs.

  • Respond promptly to environmental alarms or temperature/humidity alerts.

  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus).

  • 1+ year of experience in HVAC.

  • Basic understanding of HVAC tools, materials, and safety protocols.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in warm, humid environments.

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn cannabis facility operations.

  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass state-mandated background checks.


Preferred Qualifications

  • EPA 608 certification or equivalent.

  • Experience working in commercial or agricultural environments.

  • Knowledge of climate control systems used in cultivation or controlled environments.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include both close vision and distant vision. Exposure to nonweather related temperatures and humid conditions, contact with water or liquids, work may be performed in a closed or locked facility providing safety and security for workers and product.
