Matheny Fire & Emergency is seeking a Warranty Administrator for our Oakland Park, Florida location! Come work for a family-owned business where you can earn a competitive wage and benefits.

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for reviewing warranty repair orders for accuracy, processing warranty claims in a timely manner, and following up with factory distributors regarding unpaid claims. The ideal candidate will have warranty experience, preferably with emergency vehicles such as E-One, KME, Seagraves, Rev Group, Miller, Landall, Freightliner, International, Hino, and Cummins.

Responsibilities:

Process claims in a timely manner according to each distributor, as well as handling and resolve all claim corrections and chargebacks.Follow up with factory distributors regarding unpaid claims.Review warranty repair orders to ensure accuracy.Maintain records of processed, filed, and completed/incomplete warranty claims alike.Post credits received for claims.Assist the dealership body shop with warranty claims on an as-needed basis.Answer phone calls regarding the claims process or perform other clerical duties as needed.Review warranty repair orders and ensure accuracy, legibility, and proper completion according to the proper policies and manuals.Review rejected, incomplete, or returned warranty claims and prepare repair orders for resubmission.Become proficient in labor operation codes, failure codes, and any other administrative data for repair orders.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredWarranty Administrator experience is required.E-One, KME, Seagraves, Rev Group, Miller, Landall, Freightliner, International, Hino, and Cummins experience a plus.Proficiency in MS Office and databaseExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
