Employment Type: Full-Time, 35 hours per week

The Opportunity: The Medical Office Assistant provides a vital role in supporting a diverse primary care team over multiple sites. In addition to significant clerical and administrative functions, the ability to Coordinate the team, input medical information and access confidential Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a cornerstone of this position.
- Maintain/update records in the MOIS system complying with privacy laws for confidential medical information.
- Maintain communications and liaise with CSFS member communities, offices and health center staff.
- Schedule patient appointments and assist the primary care team and professional staff in managing face to face, telehealth schedules and client activity.
- Assist with point of care measuring and specimen testing, processing or transporting.
- Assist the physician or NP by having a well-prepared patient, treatment room and helping to provide proactive care.

What You Will Bring to The Role:
- Medical Office Assistant certificate or
- Office administration certificate, plus two years’ experience in a medical office; or
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $25.6707 to $33.2442 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
