                   Maintenance Planner  

 

  • Provide daily work plans for area and facility managers.
  • Research work request for clarity and need. Reviews manhour/craft requirements and prioritization with managers.
  • Research and order parts materials for work orders and PM/TBM tasks.
  • Pre-stage kit/parts and materials for work orders and PM tasks.
  • Confirm availability for maintenance work to managers.
  • Confirm availability of special tooling.
  • Generate daily/shift listing of work orders and PMs.
  • Provide areas with running PM schedule.
  • Input data in SharePoint.
  • Ensure PMs are completed. Give complete reports weekly.
  • Schedule all critical compliance workorders including but not limited to metal detector, Xray, Ladder inspections, guard inspections, door safety, crane inspections.
  • Assured that annual lock out tag out audit verifications have been completed.
  • Run weekly maintenance planning meeting.
  • Work with Maintenance Manager and Production Mangers to establish daily and weekend priorities.
  • Collect data and modify PM procedures to continually refocus PM efforts from input from Maintenance Manager, Production Managers and Maintenance Technicians.
  •  Evaluate and stock parts required for new equipment installs.
  • Schedule CI project improvements
  • Order and kit CI project improvements.
  • Collaborate with vendors on new equipment installations and stock correct recommended spares.
  • Ability to reduce costs on sourced parts and equipment.
  •  Request correct number of parts needed to perform scheduled TBM and PM work orders.
  • Continue to evaluate stock parts. Add, modify and delete as need to keep minimum required stock parts needed.
  • Schedule and request part orders from maintenance technicians for rebuilds and improvements.
  • Lead machine rebuilds as needed.
  • Assist on the floor of production startups.
  • Assist on floor with problems maintenance technicians need guidance.
  • Assisting with training and lock out tag out procedures are followed.
  • Assist with team building and personal problem solving.
  • Assist with downtime reduction and implantation of best practices.
  • Lead/Assist on weekend work orders, PMs and TBMs.
  • Lead/Assist on equipment rebuilds.

  

Maintenance Planner qualifying requirements:

Minimum 10 years’ experience as Maintenance Tech

Effective communication skills

Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Available to work under tight schedules.

Familiar with all plant equipment and systems

Familiar with parts inventory

Computer Capability eMaint, Excel, Power Point but not limited to

Available to work weekends. 

Basic Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Able to relate and interact with people and treat others with respect.
  • Ability to understand tasks and perform with little or no supervision.
  • Able to safely lift to 40-lbs.
  • Able to work on the production floor, on your feet, 95-percent of your time at work.
  • Able to perform repetitive hand, wrist, body twist and bend, grasping and pinching, and kneeling, squatting, and climbing tasks.
  • Flexibility on scheduling. Weekend work will be required.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic electrical knowledge.
  • Have hand tools and mobile tool chest required for job. (List will be provided)

Salary Information

$30.0 - $40.0 Hourly Wage
