SUMMARY: This role serves as product expert on the marketing side, owning expertise in assigned product areas and informing the marketing team of changes and updates.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as product expert for assigned destinations.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives for new product and promotional launches.
- Validate and distribute itinerary updates; ensure product information is accurate across all marketing and training channels (website, brochures, email, collateral).
- Manage promotional offer accuracy, pricing, and terms across all channels.
- Align product marketing priorities with Revenue Management insights.
- Research and monitor competitive product activity, including itineraries, pricing, promotions, onboard programs, and positioning, to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategy.
- Support development and execution of new theme cruises with Sales, Operations, and Marketing.
- Support internal and external inquiries via AskMarketing inbox.
- Moderate Webinar Wednesday sessions as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite; Project Management Software, Database Software, Internet Software, Spreadsheet Software, Word Processing Software, Electronic Mail Software, Presentation Software, Phone Software
Other skills required:
- Proficiency in Asana and/or other project management tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail
