The Marketing Associate is responsible for supporting the execution of marketing initiatives across a multifamily portfolio of 30+ properties. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role supports property operations and requires close collaboration with onsite teams, with a focus on showcasing community lifestyles through engaging, thoughtful content. The Marketing Associate works closely with the Director and the Associate Vice President of Marketing to support property-level marketing needs, including managing social media efforts, conducting site visits, and partnering cross-functionally across the organization to optimize onsite leasing performance, while also contributing to broader firmwide marketing initiatives and special projects as needed.


Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with onsite property teams to create and update marketing collateral, including leasing specials, flyers, signage, and digital assets; assist with updating digital campaign visuals in coordination with third-party vendor partners.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to ensure compliance with brand standards and property marketing expectations and provide recommendations and follow-up support.
  • Serve as a marketing resource for property teams, ensuring timely support and consistent execution across the portfolio.
  • Help manage property listings on ILS platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure the property brand and the Jones Street brand are consistently and accurately represented across all marketing materials and digital platforms.
  • Assist with managing the marketing helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Support or co-host internal marketing trainings related to social media, content creation, and other marketing topics, as needed.
  • Assist with special projects, portfolio-wide campaigns, and lease-up activations, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in multifamily leasing or marketing.
  • Familiarity with SEM, SEO, social media. CMS experience for website back-end work is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Canva. Adobe Creative Suite and property management software.  
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Must show up each day eager to provide support in a friendly manner. This role interacts daily with onsite leasing and corporate departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Willingness and ability to work in the Boston office or on-site at a JSR community Monday-Friday as needed by the business. Anticipated travel within New England and the mid-Atlantic is 25%.
