BARISTA

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by preparing and serving a variety of coffee-based beverages and food items. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Prepare and serve food items, such as pastries and sandwiches
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso machine operation is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Must be at least 18 years old
