What You’ll Do:

  • Understand the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions, and privacy issues.
  • Clean guest rooms and bathrooms, including making beds and changing linens.
  • Empty trash cans in guest rooms or public areas.
  • Own nightly snow removal and grounds maintenance.
  • Restock toiletries and other items in guest rooms such as shampoo, conditioner, and lotion.
  • Replace light bulbs and cleaning window sills, baseboards, and door frames.
  • Provide guests with turndown service at night, which includes making sure that the room is ready for sleeping and that any requested items are available.
  • Provide guests with towels, toiletries, and other items that they may have requested upon check-in.
  • Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel such as lobbies and stairwells.
  • Clean and sanitize public areas such as lobbies, stairwells, lounges, kitchens, and conference rooms.
  • Make up rooms that have been vacated by guests who have checked out of the hotel.
  • Provide basic Housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing, and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging the room after guests check out.
  • Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service.
  • Report cases of property damage in commercial spaces to the supervisor.
  • Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests.
  • Coordinate and assist housekeeping in bringing dirty and clean linens from rooms to laundry and visa versa.
  • Assist and coordinate with housekeeping to keep housekeeping closets and supplies stocked.
  • Bring linens from rooms to housekeeping closets and or to the laundry complex. This can require walking over multiple flights of stairs
  • Assisting housekeeping in basic cleaning when needed.
  • Completing in-room PM maintenance and post checkout maintenance.
  • Assisting the maintenance department with maintenance projects
  • Assisting maintenance with outside work and repairs on the grounds and buildings.
  • Shoveling and moving snow during winter months with shovels and snow blowers.
  • Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Respond to calls for “Haus-keeping” problems, such as spills and broken glass.
  • Collect and remove trash and debris.
  • Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, and sorting linen.
  • Report, turn in and log all lost and found items.
  • Clean upholstered furniture.
  • Perform detailed deep cleans when required.
  • Ensure the consistent execution of service standards.
  • Provide service support to guests
  • Communicate efficiently with all Gravity Haus Teammates to create a memorable guest experience.
  • Be a Gravity Haus Ambassador with an active part in our mission and vision.
  • Cultivate friendships within the Gravity Haus community.
  • Provide a genuine and elevated guest experience with a community focus, sustainable approach and driven attitude.
  • Assist in misc. Kitchen, dining, and all other common area upkeep and cleaning
  • All other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • 1 plus years of relevant experience preferred

Physical Requirements

This is an active and physical position, requiring consistent movement and manual labor tasks.

Salary Information

$20.00 - $20.00 Hourly Wage
