Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects that meet customer expectations, internal compliance standards, schedule requirements, and financial targets. This role leads cross-functional teams, ensures effective communication, manages risks, and maintains customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager supports the achievement of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals in alignment with ARC’s program execution strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute project plans including scope, schedule, deliverables, and cost.
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality to ensure alignment and project success.
- Coordinate project milestones, manage task scheduling, and ensure on-time delivery of project commitments.
- Serve as the primary communication interface with customers for project execution, updates, and issue resolution.
- Ensure all projects comply with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Track and report project health, including cost, schedule, risks, issues, and performance metrics.
- Conduct project status meetings and communicate progress and escalations to internal leadership.
- Maintain all project documentation, schedules, and records to ensure transparent communication and audit readiness.
- Forecast financial milestones with accuracy and monitor project budgets.
- Support business performance metrics including profitability, recognized revenue, schedule adherence, and quality objectives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas to improve project efficiency and financial contribution.
- Identify project risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain risk registers and provide mitigation plans for all identified risks.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to support project success.
- Communicate project expectations and performance clearly to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical aptitude to understand engineering-driven project scopes.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and risk/opportunity management frameworks.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 and MS Project; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong customer interface skills and the ability to lead teams toward successful outcomes.
Education & Experience
- 2–5 years of project management experience in an engineering, technical, or related environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls Engineering, or related field preferred, but not required.
- PMP Certification preferred, not required.
- Experience managing customer-facing projects, including financial scopes of $100,000+.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle stages such as PDR, CDR, and FAI is a plus
Additional Requirements
- Some travel may be required (less than 15% annually).
