About this position
We are seeking a Licensed Adult Outpatient Therapist role provides the opportunity to build a consistent caseload, deliver high quality clinical care, and work within a collaborative, well supported outpatient environment. What You’ll Do
Provide Clinical Care
- Deliver individual and group therapy using evidence based therapeutic approaches
- Establish strong therapeutic relationships that support stability, recovery, and growth
- Independently assess, diagnose, and treat adult behavioral health conditions within scope of licensure
Assessment and Treatment Planning
- Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on clinical progress
Crisis Intervention and Risk Management
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when needed
- Support clients in developing relapse prevention and coping strategies
Care Coordination and Resource Support
- Provide psychoeducation related to diagnoses, treatment approaches, and skill building
- Coordinate referrals and connect clients with appropriate community resources
Clinical Documentation and Productivity
- Maintain a minimum of 70 percent productivity through direct service hours
- Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
- Ensure documentation meets insurance, medical necessity, and regulatory standards
Collaboration and Professional Practice
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referral partners
- Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives
Professional Development
- Maintain licensure and required continuing education
- Engage in ongoing clinical training and skill development
- Additional duties may be assigned based on program needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted Washington State license in good standing as one of the following:
- - MHCAL
- - LMHC
- - LICSW
- - LMFT
- Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat adult behavioral health conditions
- Experience providing outpatient therapy using evidence based approaches
- Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with insurance and medical necessity standards
- Comfort managing a full outpatient caseload with productivity expectations
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth platforms
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with trauma, substance use, serious mental illness, or co-occurring disorders
- Knowledge of Benton and Franklin County community resources
- Experience in integrated or collaborative care settings
Licensing and Compliance
- Must maintain active Washington State licensure in good standing throughout employment
- Ability to pass required background checks
Physical Requirements
- Primarily sedentary work with occasional standing and light lifting
- Repetitive computer and documentation tasks
