Yard Supervisor
Daily Responsibilities:
- Supervise Yard, Delivery and/or Shuttle, Drivers
- Work with other transportation managers, ensuring yard moves and departures are accurately
- Ensure safety processes and procedures are met or exceeded by inspecting equipment, logs, DVIR's, and Hours of service records.
- Be a positive self-starter that thrives working alone and in a team
- Supervise a team of yard
- Supervise and monitor performance metrics- including survey and safety
- Work with all levels of management to build a positive work environment and improve team
- Monitor C3 and Yard Move
- Performs other duties as required
Requirements:
- Knowledge of logistics management procedures and best practices
- Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations
- Strong problem solving and leadership skills
- 1-3 years of direct experience
- Minimum 2 years of logistics experience, Supervisor or Training experience a plus
