• Carefully package and properly order contents to ensure safe shipping
• Prepare and print proper shipping paperwork
• Stock and manage inventory of shipping supplies
• Ensure finished product meets company standards

Qualifications and requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High attention to detail
• Previous picking/packing/shipping experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings a plus
• Familiar with International shipping standards and documentation
• Experienced with computers, especially MS Office
• Ability to read production and shipping documents

Experience

• 1+ year experience as a Shipping & Receiving specialist

Physical Requirements

• Must have the ability to sit at a desk using a computer for extended periods; stand, kneel, walk and bend as required throughout the work day to accomplish various tasks

Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push or carry various types of packages weighing approximately 1-60 pounds and process accordingly
