Onsite is looking for a dedicated, full time, 40 hour/week, Patient Account Representative to join our team. The ideal Representative maintains a positive attitude, is self-motivated and detail-oriented, and has excellent problem-solving skills to ensure the success of individuals and the organization. Our Patient Account Representative acts as a liaison between Onsite Neonatal and patients and payers for all post-care matters related to account resolution.
Responsibilities include:
Follow up on submitted medical claims for payment
- Meet productivity standards as assigned by management
- Contact insurance companies and other payers
- Contact patients for payments
- Establish payment plans with patients
- Utilize various insurance and hospital websites/portals
- Monitor unpaid claims and take appropriate action to obtain payment
- Resolve disputes with insurance companies
- Report denial trends to management
Our ideal candidate will have computer skills, use and navigation, as well as a proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of benefits is a plus, but not required. Excellent customer service and organizational skills are required.
