Major Food Group is hiring a Pastry Cooks to join our team at Sadelle's located in beautiful Highland Park Village!
Sadelle’s is a modern ode to New York’s classic tradition of all-day dining. Since opening its first location in the heart of SoHo in 2016, the brand has reached iconic status thanks to its urbane, celebratory atmosphere and a menu of hits, including the best bagels in America.
No. 1 STEAK by MFG is a new concept Inspired by Dallas’ deep-rooted love for steak. Hosted at Sadelle’s after dark, No. 1 STEAK by MFG transforms the space every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening into an intimate dining experience with a distinctly Dallas sensibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and prepare all pastry items as required by the business
- Prepare, clean and organize ingredients for use in the kitchen
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized at all times
- Maintain up to date knowledge about pastry arts and ingredients
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required
- Culinary diploma with a concentration in Pastry Arts or equivalent in experience strongly preferred
- Team-orientated and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills a must
- Availability required: Wednesday - Saturday, 2PM-10PM shift
