Position: Server 

 Business Line: Food and Beverage Department 

Provides food and beverage service to club members and guests according to established club steps of service guidelines.

Performs all duties with a focus on exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers, attention to detail and sensitivity for confidential material. 

Job Tasks (Duties)

1. Interacts with members and guests and conscientiously tends to their dining needs, ensuring an enjoyable club experience. 

2. Sets up side station and performs assigned side work

3. Provides immediate attention to all members/ guests upon seating with a pleasant greeting and appearance. 

4. Assists with greeting and seating guests, distributing menus as needed

5. Takes beverage order while guests decide upon entree selection; answers questions and suggests menu items

6. Takes members' /guests' orders,

7. Enters orders into POS computer; noting any special preparation instructions for kitchen staff

8. Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary 

9. Serves meal

10. Checks back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenishes water and butter as necessary 

11. Removes soiled dishes

12. Suggests and serves dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks

13. Verifies accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips and other charges on all checks 

14. Presents the bill

15. Handles all cash and/or credit cards as applicable from guests' and members' charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures

16. Keeps tables, dining room and bus station clean and tidy

17. Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur

18. Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by supervisor

19. Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Head Server or Food and Beverage Manager

20. Assists in setup/cleanup for special events and banquets including moving dining room furniture, banquet equipment, and setup/breakdown of folding tables and chairs

21. Attends all necessary training classes and related seminars with the purpose of attaining the knowledge of all menu product offered for sale. 

22. Assists in various administrative/clerical tasks as required

23. Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

 

 Experience:

• 1 year customer service experience in an upscale club, restaurant or hotel. 

· High School graduate or equivalent.

· Ability to speak and understand the primary language(s) used by guests who visit the workplace 

· Must be able to use point of sale systems and perform simple mathematical calculations.

 Shift:

• 12-hour shift

• 8-hour shift

Ability to Commute:

• Naples, FL 34120 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Naples, FL 34120: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
