Purpose of the Job: 

Maintain and grow assigned customer accounts.


Reports to: Customer Service Manager


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers by phone, fax, and email daily
  • Prioritize customer requirements and enter into system
  • Attach customer original documents to sales quotes
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Research to obtain vendor bids
  • Quote customer on daily requirements
  • Follow up with customer on quotations
  • Coordinate customer quotation with internal departments, including Research, Accounting, and Quality
  • Develop an understanding of customer’s product demands and trends
  • Build customer relationship to maintain and develop additional business
  • Complete tasks given by Sales Manager
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and success oriented
  • Courteous, tactful, and possess excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Sales or account management experience required
  • Proficient in Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5-7 years related experience

Training:

  • Pentagon Basics
  • Export & ITAR compliance
  • Aerospace Industry Quality Training (Which includes QMS training, FAA 00 56, Traceability, 8130-3 documents, PAH’s, ESD, Suspected unapproved Parts, Shelf Life/LLP’s, AD’s, ATA Spec 300, PMA Parts, Direct Ship Authority, Repair Stations and Standard Terminology.
  • 90 Day Probation OJT (Includes, Return Material Authorization (RMA), Adding Vendors, Purchase Order Creation, Approved Suppliers.
