Description:
Purpose of the Job:
Maintain and grow assigned customer accounts.
Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers by phone, fax, and email daily
- Prioritize customer requirements and enter into system
- Attach customer original documents to sales quotes
- Coordinate and collaborate with Research to obtain vendor bids
- Quote customer on daily requirements
- Follow up with customer on quotations
- Coordinate customer quotation with internal departments, including Research, Accounting, and Quality
- Develop an understanding of customer’s product demands and trends
- Build customer relationship to maintain and develop additional business
- Complete tasks given by Sales Manager
- Positive attitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly motivated, energetic, and success oriented
- Courteous, tactful, and possess excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
- Sales or account management experience required
- Proficient in Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel
- Bachelor's degree and/or 5-7 years related experience
Training:
- Pentagon Basics
- Export & ITAR compliance
- Aerospace Industry Quality Training (Which includes QMS training, FAA 00 56, Traceability, 8130-3 documents, PAH’s, ESD, Suspected unapproved Parts, Shelf Life/LLP’s, AD’s, ATA Spec 300, PMA Parts, Direct Ship Authority, Repair Stations and Standard Terminology.
- 90 Day Probation OJT (Includes, Return Material Authorization (RMA), Adding Vendors, Purchase Order Creation, Approved Suppliers.
