Title: Operations Internship

Location: North Sioux City, SD

Reports to: Vice President of Operations

Time Frame: May 2026 - August 2026

Job Description: Sterling is a fast-growing, award-winning technology company focused on hardware, software, and technology services for government, education and commercial customers. Sterling is looking for motivated and professional-minded students who is interested in working to support our operations staff.   The Operations internship is a paid full-time seasonal position starting in mid-May and ending in mid-August. 

Required Technical Skills: Interested students should have strong computers skills and a strong desire to learn skills, processes, and workflows of a corporate office environment. 

Required Education/Experience: Interested students should be currently enrolled in a college degree program. Candidates for the Internships must be entering their junior or senior year of college. Candidate’s course of study must pertain to the Internship position to which they are applying.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Creating and analyzing reports
  • Data mining using various tools
  • Update and maintain records in Salesforce
  • Observe and carry out day to day duties of the Operations team
