POSITION SUMMARY
-
The Value Analysis Coordinator is responsible for providing resources for maintaining balanced optimal clinical outcomes while achieving supply expense management initiatives. Responsible for coordination of service agreements with new services/equipment. Facilitates the value analysis teams, meetings, and coordinates all schedules for these meetings. Works with clinical staff to determine new VA teams if needed. Participates in the Value Analysis new product review process, oversees the Symplr Spend tool and keeps tasks on hand with both the clinical staff and vendor to ensure timely decisions. Meets with physicians and clinical staff as needed to understand requests, new technology, and new product submissions. Oversee the hospitals involvement with GPO and Aggregate purchasing programs as it relates to VA activities and tasks. Serves as a backup when needed for both contract coordinator and buyer roles. This is an EAH system function.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education
-
BA required, preferred in a healthcare related field, business administration or accounting or minimum of 5 years in a healthcare related field.

2-3 years Value Analysis in Healthcare, clinical experience, or related field.
