Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated GM, International. This role is a full time, exempt position that is reporting into the Co-CEOs. The General Manager, International will lead global expansion and operational excellence for the company’s consumer packaged goods portfolio. This executive owns the international P&L, drives market penetration, builds distribution capabilities, and ensures supply chain continuity across key regions. As a senior leader, the GM will accelerate brand growth, navigate diverse retail environments (modern trade & traditional trade), manage regulatory and compliance requirements, and execute against long-term international strategies aligned to corporate priorities.
Responsibilities:
Global Strategy & Market Expansion
- Create further global growth strategy plans for portfolio of in house sports nutrition and wellness brands, to further build on the existing business across all regions – EMEA, APAC, LATAM, etc.
- Evaluate and prioritize new market entry opportunities based on category trends, consumer insights, channel dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- In partnership with the Chief Growth Officer and the marketing team, further define international brand positioning, portfolio strategies, and category expansion plans.
Commercial Leadership & P&L Ownership
- Manage end‑to‑end international P&Ls, ensuring profitable growth, pricing strategy effectiveness, and disciplined investment decisions.
- Oversee sales forecasts, trade spend, promotional calendars, and demand planning to optimize performance across retail, e-commerce, and distributor channels.
- Drive excellence in revenue management, market share growth, and profitability improvement.
Route‑to‑Market Management
- Optimize route‑to‑market models, including UK entity, licensed and in house distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and direct-to-consumer channels.
- Establish distributor scorecards, performance metrics, and annual operating plans.
- Negotiate high‑value international distribution agreements, retail placements, and strategic partnerships.
Supply Chain, Operations & Regulatory Compliance
- Partner with Supply Chain to ensure global inventory continuity, efficient logistics, and demand‑supply alignment.
- Lead efforts to localize product formulations, packaging, and labeling to meet country-specific regulations and consumer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with global standards including food safety, import/export regulations and product registrations, and environmental requirements.
Brand Growth & Consumer Engagement
- Collaborate with Marketing to localize consumer communication, insights, and shopper activation programs for each market.
- Guide product innovation tailored to international consumer needs and regional trends.
- Oversee in‑market brand performance, ensuring alignment with global brand equity and strategy.
Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Lead and develop diverse, high‑performing regional teams across sales, operations, and finance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, agility, collaboration, and results across international markets.
- Partner closely with HR, Finance, Legal, R&D, Supply Chain, and Marketing to support global initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- International revenue and profitability growth.
- Global retail distribution, market share gains, and category expansion.
- Distributor performance and RTM optimization.
- Forecast accuracy, supply continuity, and operational efficiency.
- Brand equity growth and successful localized marketing execution.

Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in international business within a CPG company (food, beverage, beauty, personal care, household care, etc.). Experience within vitamins, minerals, and supplements, preferred.
- Proven track record managing global operations, retail partnerships, and complex multi-market P&Ls.
- Experience working with distributors, retailers, and emerging markets strongly preferred.

- Deep understanding of global supply chain and regulatory requirements specific to CPG.

Schedule Options:
- Hybrid Work Schedule for individuals that reside within 40-mile radius to New Brunswick, NJ with 4 days onsite/1 day remote
