Driver – Part-Time (Up to 20 Hours/Week)


Treasure Coast Girls Coalition (TCGC)
Location: Indian River County | Pay: $19–$25/hour (based on experience and CDL endorsement)

We are seeking a reliable, safety-minded driver to join our team and support student transportation during after-school hours, and experiential learning outings. This is a part-time position (up to 20 hours/week). 


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
  • Ability to pass a Level II background check, MVR and drug screening
  • Physically capable of safely operating a van or vehicle
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety
  • Culturally responsive and able to positively engage with youth and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport TCGC students to and from school sites and events
  • Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure students safely board and exit the vehicle
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, or delays promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle interior
  • Monitor and support appropriate student behavior during transport
  • Follow all traffic laws, school zone regulations, and TCGC protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with youth or in a school setting
  • Knowledge of safety procedures for student transport
  • Familiarity with Indian River County roadways
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
