About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN ED to join our team at Red Lake Hospital and Cass Lake. As an RN ED, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Your primary goal will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a timely and efficient manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the state of Arizona
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

Employee health clearance: 

Immunizations: (Proof of immunization or lab evidence of immunity or disease)

• MMR #1 & 2

• Varicella #1 & 2

• Hepatitis B #1, 2, 3

Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) within the past 10 years

TB skin test (2 total with results at least 10 days apart) or Quantiferon Gold

Influenza Current (October 1 – March 31)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TNCC certification
  • ENPC certification
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and triage patients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient care accurately and completely
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Skills:

As an RN ED, you will utilize your critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills on a daily basis. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. In addition, you will need to be proficient in administering medications and treatments, as well as documenting patient care accurately and completely. Your ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment will be essential to your success in this role.
