Description:
We are seeking a positive, energetic, and dedicated Recreational Gymnastics Coach who is passionate about working with young children ages 4 and up. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and physical education. This individual will lead structured gymnastics classes that help build strength, coordination, and confidence in a safe and fun environment. (NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED- WILL TRAIN QUALIFIED CANDIDATES)
Duties
- Instruct recreational gymnastics classes for beginner to intermediate levels.
- Lead warm-ups and activities that develop strength, balance, and coordination.
- Demonstrate and spot basic gymnastics skills.
- Foster a positive and motivating atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Provide positive reinforcement and manage class behavior in age-appropriate ways.
- Communicate effectively with parents about student progress and class structure.
- Set up and clean up equipment before and after class.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe gym environment.
- Help with seasonal events and performances.
- Collaborate with the coaching team and management to enhance program.
Qualifications
- Background in gymnastics, cheer, dance, or related physical activity.
- Experience working with students of various age groups, particularly children.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Must be able to lift equipment and spot students safely.
- Must be energetic, patient, and engaging with young children.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- A passion for promoting health and fitness through sports activities.
- Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
Salary Information
$15.00 - $17.00
