Position Summary: Makes all standard/specialty coffee and tea beverages for the dining room, cocktail lounge, and bar. Interacts with the venue guests, fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.


Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to:

· Greet guests with a warm, friendly attitude and create a welcoming environment.

· Build rapport with guests with accuracy and enthusiasm, offering recommendations when appropriate

· Maintains professional appearance standards as directed in the Company Employee Handbook.

· Anticipates and accommodates the needs of the guests in a timely manner.

· Communicates the needs of guests to other team members, managers and chefs as needed.

· Serve coffee/tea orders to tables/bar in a timely manner.

· Monitor guests’ satisfaction during service and offer assistance of refills as needed.

· Helps ensure guest satisfaction through active participation in service.

· Possesses in-depth knowledge of the coffee and tea menus, their assigned recipes and the ability to execute them to Company standard.

· Possesses general knowledge of all food and beverage menus, and Company policies & procedures.

· Complies with Department of Health and Company safety and sanitation standards.

· Works as part of a service team and provides service help and support to all fellow team members and guests.

· Maintain the general cleanliness and sanitation of the coffee station, and entire venue.

· Other duties as assigned.


Sets-Up/Breaks-Down Coffee Station and Performs Side-Work Including:

· Clears any dirty service items from the table after delivering coffee/tea orders.

· Responsible for making sure that all perishable items (i.e. milk) have not expired and if they are promptly discarding them, alert management of the waste.

· Stocks coffee-stations with supplies. 

· Immediately reports all broken/damaged equipment to management.

Requirements:

Minimum Education and Qualifications

· Previous hospitality experience required.

· Previous barista experience.

Previous Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge. 


Training Requirements

· Learns from team members and shares knowledge.

· Participates in pre-service meetings; attends department training sessions.

· Completes company training for their position.

· Current state approved Food Handling Certificate.

· Current state approved Alcohol Safety Certification.






Salary Information

$7.25 - $7.25 Hourly Wage
