Become a qualified Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety! We support and guide you through the (TSW) SISSS00132 certification, completed through an external training provider (applicant-funded).

Training - the State Swim Way:
Hands-On Experience: Receive on-the-job training with experienced, qualified Swim Teachers.
Proven Teaching Method: Learn the effective State Swim method for building confidence in your teaching.
Instructor iPads: Utilize our easy-to-use iPads to guide you through lesson plans and class coordination.
Supportive Environment: Join a friendly and encouraging team passionate about swim instruction.
Core availability requirements for all sites are:
Afternoons - 3:30pm – 6:00pm.
Weekends - 8:00am – 12:30pm.
Additional shifts may be available at selected sites:
Mornings – usually 9am to 11am
Interm school swimming - usually 12pm – 3pm
About you:
You need to be committed to achieving a Swim Teaching Qualification, be a good communicator and confident in teaching kids.
