Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for leading and performing advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, systems, and facilities while ensuring all work complies with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

         

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and perform      mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic maintenance on production and      facility equipment.
  • Identify recurring equipment      issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in scheduling and      prioritizing maintenance work during the shift.
  • Execute and document      preventive and equipment maintenance tasks accurately and on time.
  • Recommend and install      equipment to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Respond to emergency      maintenance calls and minimize production disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of      repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all      safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness.
  • Communicate shift status, open      issues, and completed tasks effectively during shift handoffs.
  • Perform other related duties      as assigned to support the overall success of the maintenance team and      facility operations

     

         

Work Environment:

This position is performed in a manufacturing environment where exposure to machinery, noise, dust, grease, and moving mechanical parts is expected. Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required.


Requirements

     Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED      required and/or 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing      maintenance, with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical      systems, electrical troubleshooting (up to 480V), hydraulics, and      pneumatics.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair      issues with motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, sensors, and control      systems.
  • Ability to work independently      with minimal supervision and lead others effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and      communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.,      climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
  • Must be able to work scheduled      2nd shift hours and occasional overtime/weekends as needed.
  • Experience in Lean      Manufacturing or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) environments.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety      standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
