From March through November, you’ll work alongside a tight-knit team of professionals who value teamwork, learning, and doing the job right. Reporting to the Maintenance Field Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping properties looking their best—whether that’s mowing pristine lawns, caring for vibrant gardens, or adding the finishing touches that make every site shine.

What You’ll Be Doing

Learn & Build Your Skills

  • Complete training on equipment, policies, and procedures to set you up for success
  • Gain valuable hands-on experience alongside skilled landscaping professionals

Be a Proud Ambassador of Team Horizon

  • Wear your uniform with professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Deliver friendly, courteous customer service on every site
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance in line with our Operations Manual

Support Daily Maintenance Operations

  • Assist the Maintenance Foreman with tasks from start to finish
  • Help ensure each job site is safe, efficient, and looking its best

Care for Equipment & Safety

  • Perform routine equipment inspections before use
  • Report equipment issues promptly to keep tools in top condition
  • Participate in safety meetings and always use proper PPE

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding, 100% labour-based role. Candidates must be able to:

  • Lift 50 lbs or more
  • Bend, crouch, twist, and stand or walk for extended periods

 

Work Environment

Your “office” is the great outdoors. Every day brings something new—from sunshine to rain, cool mornings to warm afternoons. You’ll work 4 x 10-hour shifts, giving you a well-earned 3-day weekend every week.

This is a seasonal position running from March through November.

Dress for the weather, layer up when needed, and enjoy working outside in all conditions.
