Northern Nurseries, a leading provider of nursery and landscaping supplies in the Northeast, is seeking a dedicated and energetic full-time Customer Service and Labor Associate to join our team from March to November. Our company prides itself on offering a comprehensive shopping experience for landscapers and homeowners alike, featuring the largest selection of trees, evergreens, flowering shrubs, perennials, and hardscape products. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting plants, nursery goods, and landscaping supplies, providing knowledgeable and friendly service
Maintain and organize inventory of plants, hardscape materials, and related products
Load and unload deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage of goods
Support the setup and maintenance of displays and outdoor areas
Provide basic information on nursery products, landscape lighting, irrigation, and soil conditioners
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the nursery and work areas
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations

Requirements:Skills and Qualifications:
Energetic, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
Previous experience in a nursery, garden center, landscaping, or related environment preferred
Knowledge of nursery goods, hardscape products, landscape lighting, and irrigation systems is a plus
Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs plus) and perform physical tasks regularly
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Valid driver’s license is preferred
