Job Summary: The Production Laborer performs a variety of secondary and hand operations required to complete work orders. This role supports production efficiency by performing tasks such as sorting, cleaning, packaging, labeling, and material handling while maintaining accuracy, quality, and safe work practices.
What you will be doing:
Production & Secondary Operations
- Perform assigned tasks such as sorting, cleaning, counting, deburring, packaging, and other manual or secondary operations.
- Change boxes or containers at the completion of each lot, verify counts, and apply correct labels.
- Maintain required supplies at the workstation, including boxes, bags, skids, and packaging materials.
Documentation & Accuracy
- Complete all required paperwork for each job, including work order travelers, lot labels, box content forms, and other production documentation.
- Verify lot quantities and ensure proper identification and traceability throughout the process.
Material Handling
- Move completed product to designated areas within the warehouse or production floor.
- Assist in maintaining an organized workflow to support efficient production operations.
Safety, Quality & Housekeeping
- Follow all safe work practices and use proper procedures while performing job duties.
- Keep the workstation clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Maintain attention to detail to ensure product quality and reduce errors.
Work Practices & Support
- Manage time effectively to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Support other production tasks or assignments as directed.
Other duties:
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s Employee Handbook and Local Work Rules. In addition, adhere to the proper Code of Conduct while on company property.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills for counting, verification, and completing production documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines.
- Experience performing repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
