Recovery Support Specialist


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Recovery Support Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide peer support and mentorship to individuals in recovery from substance use or mental health challenges

- Assist clients in developing and implementing personalized recovery plans

- Educate clients about available resources, coping strategies, and relapse prevention techniques

- Foster a supportive and non-judgmental environment to promote trust and engagement

- Collaborate with treatment teams, case managers, and community organizations to coordinate care

- Document client progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with organizational policies

- Advocate for clients’ needs and promote their active participation in recovery activities


Skills and Qualifications:

- Certified Recovery Support Specialist credential or equivalent certification

- Proven experience in peer support, recovery coaching, or related roles

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others

- Knowledge of addiction, mental health issues, and community resources

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Excellent organizational and documentation skills

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required
