Position Summary:
The Intern will provide support to the assigned department by assisting with day-to-day operations, administrative tasks, and special projects. This position is designed to offer hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to real-world business operations while contributing to the organization’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily administrative and operational tasks within the department
- Support team members with ongoing projects and initiatives
- Collect, organize, and maintain accurate records and documentation
- Conduct research, data entry, and basic analysis as assigned
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed
- Attend meetings and take notes when required
- Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned to support department needs
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university
- Pursuing a degree related to the assigned department preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); additional software a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional attitude and willingness to learn
Work Environment:
- Office or operational setting depending on department assignment
- May require sitting, standing, and use of standard office equipment
- Schedule may be part-time or full-time depending on program requirements
