Position Overview:

Utah Valley Pediatrics is seeking a Medical Technology Assistant to support the adoption and optimization of technological tools across our offices. This role will focus on assisting with implementation of a new online scheduling system, assisting and training providers and staff on different online tools, providing expertise on company EHR eClinicalWorks (eCW) and other essential programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical workflows and technology, serving as a key resource for ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This position is not an IT position, but rather would be focused on how to use different medical applications/programs across all offices.

Key Responsibilities:


Technology Expertise:

  • Assist with the setup and optimization of online scheduling systems.
  • Train office staff on effectively using online scheduling tools and other tools used in daily operations.
  • Guide doctors in implementing and using AI scribing tools in their workflows.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to ensure effective use of AI scribing technology.

Training & Documentation:

  • Create and deliver training programs on EHR (eCW) online scheduling, and other tools used in daily operations.
  • Develop user-friendly documentation and guides to support office staff.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Partner with Director of Operations and Office Managers to identify areas for improvement in technology use.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for medical staff regarding the application of technology in patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW) or similar electronic medical record systems.
  • Experience in a medical environment, with a clear understanding of clinical workflows.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to work with staff at varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with online scheduling platforms and AI scribing tools.
  • Experience working in pediatric or outpatient healthcare settings.
  • Background in training and development in a healthcare environment.
