 Ear Nose & Throat Specialties, P.C. is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations, lead strategic initiatives, and ensure exceptional patient care across our clinic and ambulatory surgery center. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-provider environment and can drive efficiency, quality, and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the CEO, HR, physician owners, and department managers to execute organizational priorities.
  • Optimize workflows, scheduling, staffing models, room utilization, and clinical throughput.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management to supervisory and front-line staff.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and competency development for clinical and administrative teams.
  • Serve as a key liaison between clinical teams, administrative departments, and physician leadership.
  • Facilitate effective communication across departments, ensuring expectations, processes, and changes are clearly cascaded.
  • Assist with development and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and productivity benchmarks.
  • Support strategic projects such as EMR optimization and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
  • Assist with incident reporting, infection prevention efforts, patient satisfaction tracking, and regulatory readiness.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are updated, compliant, and consistently implemented across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field strongly      preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with EMR/PM systems, revenue cycle workflows, and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to navigate complex, fast-paced clinical environments with professionalism and composure.
