About the Role: As a full-time Physician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions to improve patient health outcomes. You will provide comprehensive care by conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. You will also be responsible for educating patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options. Ultimately, your expertise and compassionate care will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for diverse patient populations across various healthcare settings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in a relevant medical specialty.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Virginia.
  • Strong knowledge of medical ethics, patient confidentiality, and healthcare regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fellowship training or additional certifications in subspecialties relevant to the practice area.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telemedicine platforms.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and community health settings.
  • Experience treating HIV patients.
  • Board certification or eligibility in the chosen specialty.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed patient histories and physical examinations to assess health status and identify medical conditions.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging studies, and other relevant procedures.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide patient education on disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Stay current with medical research, advancements, and best practices to continually improve patient care.
