MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Medical Assistant (Full-Time, Hourly)📍 Miami, FL💼 Empower “U”, Inc.💲 $18.50 – $22.50 per hour

Empower “U”, Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing clinical team. This role supports providers and nursing staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a community health center setting.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare patients and exam rooms for provider visits

Obtain and document vital signs; report abnormal findings

Assist with patient flow, scheduling, and discharge instructions

Perform accurate clinical documentation in the EHR

Maintain infection control, safety, and HIPAA compliance

Support daily clinic operations and team-based care delivery

QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required

Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program

Current Medical Assistant certification required

Current CPR/BLS (American Heart Association) required

1–2 years of clinical experience preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology and EHR systems

Bilingual (English/Spanish or Creole) preferred
