About this position
The Product Line Marketing Specialist provides direct support to the Business Development Manager and the Marketing Team and is responsible for translating the Business/Product Line strategy and needs into a coherent marketing strategy. The PLMS will be responsible for understanding the strategy of the business and will work with key stakeholders on creating a marketing plan that will support the strategy; this includes understanding the business target audiences, value propositions, messages and goals, building campaigns, and fully owning the strategy from conceptualization to execution.
This role entails a close collaboration between Business Development, Marketing and key Stakeholders within the organization.
The primary functions of the position are listed below:
· Works closely with the Product Line Business Owners in order to understand the current strategy and possible marketing needs.
· Understands the key elements of the business; from services and competitors to overall key market elements that are intrinsic to the business success and growth targets.
· Is responsible for translating business needs into a yearly (or longer) marketing plan to help support the Product Line strategies; Understand the strategy (growth, new market penetration) and identify key messages, target clients., etc. needed to develop a coherent marketing plan.
· Works closely with the Marketing Team in developing a marketing plan that will fulfill the strategic needs of the Product Line. This will include campaigns, targeted advertising, among others, geared towards the identified needs and using in-house and external tools.
· Is responsible for getting Stakeholder buy-in and subsequently executing the marketing plan.
· Owns the execution, monitoring and overall success of the marketing plan implementation.
· Works closely with the rest of the BD team, Stakeholders, and marketing team in executing all campaigns within the plan.
· Serves as link between PL Stakeholders and the rest of the marketing team throughout execution.
· Closely monitors the program and provide feedback to Stakeholders and Marketing team.
· Leads and supports media creation and campaigns within the marketing plan that can include:
o public relations, social media campaigns, shows, and events (virtual and live - trainings, webinars, shop tours, golf tournaments, etc.) in coordination with outside partners, marketing director RES AME and HQ
o marketing material (brochures, flyers, web, presentations, videos, ads, articles, white papers, press releases, social posts, webinars, landing pages, campaigns, show booths, graphics, etc.)
· Administrates PL contact lists and evaluates LeadGen and campaign metrics.
· Supports AME and Global Marketing Team as needed
· Supports the PL in diverse marketing requests as needed.
The ideal candidate shall possess the following:
- Bachelor’s in marketing or similar Business degree – master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years marketing, communications, and social media experience – B2B experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years digital marketing experience. Digital marketing certification preferred
- Corporate branding experience preferred. Experience in the rotating equipment market preferred.
- Must have strong professional and technical writing ability
- Proficient with latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint
- InDesign and graphic design proficiency
- Video and photography experience
- Social media experience including LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and/or Facebook
- Web experience including administration, optimization, paid search, and Google analytics
- Content and image asset management experience
- MarTech experience or equivalent in Sprout Social, Falcon, Pardot. Sitecore, Cvent, Monday.com
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with personnel from diverse backgrounds at all levels of the organization.
- Project management experience: Experience in managing multiple projects at once; project management, plan executions and implementation.
