About this position

Join our dynamic team as a Sales Representative and become the driving force behind sales growth for nationally‑recognized food‑service equipment brands in Arkansas and surrounding markets. You’ll represent a multi‑brand portfolio—including commercial ice machines, super‑automatic coffee equipment, beverage dispensers, water‑filtration solutions, and related parts—while building lasting partnerships with dealers, contractors, and end‑users. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Develop & execute territory‑wide sales strategies to capture market share and maximize revenue. 

  • Cultivate and expand relationships with existing dealer, contractor, and end‑user accounts. 

  • Prospect new accounts across verticals such as hospitality, education, healthcare, convenience retail, and commercial foodservice. 

  • Research market trends, locate key decision‑makers, and deliver customized equipment solutions. 

  • Promote brand awareness and Baker Distributing Company’s wholesale programs throughout the territory. 

  • Collaborate with quoting, order‑fulfillment, and post‑sale support teams to ensure accurate proposals, on‑time deliveries, and high customer satisfaction. 

  • Represent the company at dealer meetings, trade shows, conferences, and industry events. 

  • Solve problems proactively, resolve customer issues promptly, and continuously improve processes. 

Who You Are 

  • Minimum 2 years B2B outside‑sales experience (preferably in refrigeration/food‑service). 

  • Proven track record in sales & marketing of wholesale equipment and parts. 

  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills. 

  • Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage time and territory independently. 

  • Comfortable traveling throughout the assigned region (occasional overnight trips). 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM/sales‑tracking systems, and data‑driven decision making.
