About this position
We're seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist who will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts used in fabricated systems and assemblies. This role works closely with shop leadership, welders, fitters, and engineering to ensure parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
This is a hands on manufacturing role suited for someone who takes pride in quality work and thrives in a collaborative shop environment.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to machine components to specification.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Select tooling, fixtures, and materials appropriate for each job.
- Perform first article and in process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy-article and in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy.
- Able to run programs in MDI.
- Maintain machines, tooling, and a clean, safe work area.
- Collaborate with shop supervision and engineering to improve processes and cycle times.
- Support fabrication and assembly teams by delivering accurate, on time machined parts-time machined parts.
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Understanding of machining principles, materials, and tolerances.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based shop environment-based shop environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- CNC programming experience (G code or CAM generated programs).
- Experience using Esprit CAD-CAM software.
- Experience machining components for industrial equipment or fabricated assemblies.
- Familiarity with low to medium volume, high mix production environments to medium volume, high mix production. environments-to-medium volume, high-mix production environments.
- Experience supporting fabrication, welding, or modular system builds.
