The Opportunity

Jerry’s Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Parts Counterperson to join our fast-paced Parts Department. We aren't just looking for someone to look up numbers; we need a GM expert who understands the heartbeat of a dealership—from supporting our Service Technicians to providing top-tier service to our retail and wholesale customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert Assistance: Provide fast and accurate parts identification for Service Technicians, retail customers, and wholesale accounts.
  • Inventory Mastery: Assist in ordering, receiving, and stocking parts while maintaining an organized and efficient department.
  • Technical Literacy: Utilize GM GlobalConnect and Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC) to ensure the right part is delivered the first time.
  • Customer Service: Handle phone inquiries and walk-ins with professional expertise and a "get-it-done" attitude.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Department to ensure repair orders are completed on schedule.

    • Required Qualifications

  • GM Dealership Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience specifically within a GM parts environment is highly preferred.
  • Systems Knowledge: Proficiency with Tekion DMS or other dealership management systems (DMS).
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of automotive components and GM-specific parts lines (ACDelco, etc.).
  • Professionalism: Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
  • Reliability: A valid driver’s license and a clean background check/drug screen.

    • May be subject to working indoors and outdoors during all types of weather.

    $45000.0 - $60000.0 Annual Salary
