About this position

I.    Job Summary 

Guided by the Business Development Manager and Sr. Marketing Coordinator, the Digital Media Marketing Assistant is responsible for executing the digital media marketing efforts at the firm.  The person in this position will be responsible for implementing the firm's marketing strategies across all digital media marketing platforms. They will help identify target client groups, drive traffic to the firm's website, and increase client engagement. 


II.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Execute content, design, and engagement of the firm's social media platforms

    Develop, schedule, and manage the firm's content calendar across all digital channels

    Execute ad campaigns on all relevant platforms

    Execute video production efforts, including scripting, filming, editing, and distribution of attorney video shorts and promotional reels

    Research emerging media trends and ensure best practices are applied to campaigns

    Monitor competitors' digital media performance and report insights

    Stay current on best practices for social media, digital trends, and video strategies

    Conduct market research and propose strategies to identify and secure target client groups

    Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target market through appropriate digital media channels

    Draft blogs and articles for the website 

    Perform other duties as assigned by manager


III.    Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities 

    Demonstrated competency of core marketing principles including internal communications, public relations, branding, market research, and competitive intelligence

    Possesses strong understanding of how the marketing/communication function supports business development and is able to prioritize opportunities as a result

    Excellent writing skills and ability to proofread to ensure accuracy in work product 

    Possesses well developed and professional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse group of clients and peers and provide guidance and support with courtesy and tact 

    Ability to discuss firm practice areas and Stock Watch with potential clients

    Detail-oriented

    Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

    Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion

    Team player

    Highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic

    Ability to perceive, analyze, and address problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions

    Proficiency with Google Analytics and web analysis tools

    Experience with graphic design and knowledge of techniques, tools, and principles involved in the development of websites, brochures, and marketing materials

    Proficient in all MS Office products, Adobe Acrobat, graphic design, and marketing software 


IV.    Education & Experience 

    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field is required

    1-4 years of experience in public relations, advertising, marketing, or related field is strongly preferred

    Experience in law firms and knowledge of the legal industry is strongly preferred



Salary Information

$23.0 - $25.0 Hourly Wage
