Soups & Sweets Instructor (27–30 hours/week)Do you love teaching, cooking, and making an impact? Join the Soups & Sweets program as a hands-on Cooking/Baking Instructor and help diverse adult learners build real-world skills for meaningful careers in food service.What You’ll DoDesign and deliver engaging, interactive cooking and baking instructionTeach essential culinary techniques, food safety, and presentationPlan menus, shop for ingredients, and prepare lessons for instructionFoster a safe, supportive learning environment modeling positive workplace communicationMaintain a clean, organized Kosher kitchen that meets health department standardsWhat You BringAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts (or equivalent professional training)Minimum two years as a chef, sous chef, or culinary instructor in a professional kitchen or food service operation Proven instructional skills with adult learners of diverse abilitiesStrong culinary knowledge in cooking, baking, food safety, and presentationExcellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with flexibility to adapt Benefits include: Generous PTO; Medical, dental, and vision care; 403b plan eligible; Group term life insurance; Voluntary disability insurance plan; FSA & HSA options available; and other employee discounts are available
