About this position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Associate specializing in warranty law to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will represent automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related litigation, including cases under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (Lemon Law). The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation experience, exceptional research and writing skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of warranty litigation, from initial case assessment through resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to develop case strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in warranty or product liability cases.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials and attention to detail.

Work Environment:

This position offers flexibility with a hybrid work model, requiring 2-3 days onsite in one of our Southern California offices (Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco) or the option to work remotely within California.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $165,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses.
