We are seeking a detail-oriented Appraisal Coordinator to assist in managing appraisal orders with appraisers and Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs). This role is responsible for placing appraisal orders, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate status updates to ensure each order moves efficiently through the pipeline.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assign new appraisal orders to appraisers
• Communicate with appraisers to ensure inspection appointments are made in a timely manner
• Approve and decline appraiser requests to deviate from specified performance metrics
• Request and monitor quotes on complex appraisal assignments
• Communicate with the loan team to ensure they are fully informed
• Monitor appraisal orders to ensure accurate fulfillment and delivery
• Address basic appraiser queries and identify issues for response

Qualifications:

• Previous Appraisal Coordinator experience from a mortgage lender or AMC (appraisal management company)
• Knowledge of mortgage lending processes and terms
• Friendly Customer Service
• Strong organizational and relationship building skills
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
