Rollermeter Operators are responsible for loading materials into machinery, maintaining equipment and sanitizing work areas. The ideal Operator will have a minimum of one year's experience working in a manufacturing setting, have excellent communication skills and be a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

· Thoroughly understand how rollermeters operate, how to clean them, how to eliminate issues like spilling and clogging

· Set up and calibrate rollermeters correctly and be able to calibrate batches with unique issues as necessary

· Periodically verify sizes coming out of rollermeters and complete sizing checks after completion of batches.

· Periodically verify "reject" product is actually defective, and resolve issues if product was rejected incorrectly

· Load and setup frosted glass tables

· Operate frosted glass tables and ensure extra product rejection is minimal

· Complete traveler paperwork, cleaning logs, maintenance logs in their entirety

  • Mechanically minded. Operators should know how to calibrate specific batches and solve unique issues.
  • Solve daily issues with rollers, like improper calibration, spillage, clogging, and daily maintenance.
  • Be able to determine sizes of objects with precision.
  • Ability to visually inspect product.
  • Perform cleanliness inspections.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds.
