About the Role:

The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Sales and Distribution / wholesale trade warehouse by managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all products are handled safely and in compliance with company policies. The Warehouse Associate will collaborate closely with team members to fulfill orders promptly and support overall supply chain effectiveness. Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are paramount to prevent errors and maintain a secure working environment. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring that products are available and delivered on time.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Basic proficiency with inventory management systems or warehouse software.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Familiarity with standard safety procedures and protocols in a warehouse setting.
  • Have basic Microsoft Office product knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in wholesale trade or related industries.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trailers / containers
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Coordinating replenishment of materials to designated areas as needed
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and data entry into warehouse management systems.
  • Manage timely material picks to ensure production/packing lines do not run of material to avoid downtime
  • Follow production schedule and production schedule changes daily to know the jobs that must be picked
  • Attend and participate in daily production meetings
  • Notify Receiving Department of pending receipt requirements            
  • Create pick move orders for daily picks           
  • Monitor and control inventory requests from other buildings
  • Open containers containing parts to be assembled and apply labels, paper sleeves, etc. to required components        
  • Assemble boxes to pack products and kits for parent items     
  • Prepare packing material and bag/box completed items
  • Assist in non-forklift handling duties as needed
  • Consistently maintains an acceptable level of productivity
  • Requires punctual and regular attendance
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment        
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Other duties may be assigned based on business needs. 

Skills:

The Warehouse Associate utilizes organizational skills daily to manage inventory accurately and ensure efficient storage and retrieval of products. Communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and supervisors to maintain smooth operations and address any challenges. Physical stamina and manual dexterity are required to handle goods safely and operate warehouse equipment effectively. Familiarity with warehouse management software enables the associate to update inventory records and track shipments in real time. Additionally, adherence to safety protocols is critical to prevent accidents and maintain a secure workplace environment.


M - F from 7AM to 4PM full time
Distribution Center located in Suga Land, TX 77478.
