Position Summary
The On-Site Crib Lead is responsible for managing and supporting inventory operations at a customer’s facility, with a primary focus on MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) materials and select repair coordination. This role serves as the day-to-day on-site point of contact, ensuring inventory accuracy, material availability, and effective communication between the customer, vendors, and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable operating in a manufacturing environment while balancing inventory management, reporting, and coordination responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for customer personnel regarding MRO inventory and related support needs
- Manage daily crib operations, including issuing, receiving, stocking, and cycle counting of MRO materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure material availability to support production and maintenance requirements
- Coordinate repair activities as needed, including tracking items, communicating status, and working with internal repair teams
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal operations teams to resolve issues and support continuous operations
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify reorder points, shortages, and usage trends
- Support vendor interactions, including deliveries, discrepancies, and follow-ups
- Ensure compliance with customer safety, quality, and site-specific procedures
- Prepare and maintain basic reports related to inventory usage, discrepancies, and service levels
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and cost savings within the crib operation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work environment
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management, MRO crib operations, warehouse, or manufacturing support
- Experience working on-site at a customer facility preferred
- Familiarity with inventory systems, ERP platforms, or warehouse management systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of on-site operations
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials as required throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation

$22.0 - $24.0
Hourly Wage
