$19.95 - $25.96 Per Hour
The Pharmacy Assistant is the first representative of pharmacy to our patients and plays a key role in ensuring our patients have a welcoming and productive visit. In this role, they must provide the highest level of customer service, actively working to help the patient in a warm, helpful, and empathetic manner. The Pharmacy Assistant is also accountable for important administrative, cashiering, and clerical functions to support the pharmacy team, optimize patients visit quality, and keep patient records accurate and current.
Responsibilities
- Consistently exhibits all Moses Lake Community Health Center's Service Standards with patients and co-workers.
- Accurately rings out patients ensuring counseling called for when appropriate.
- Consistently maintains patient data base (e.g., address, phone, etc).
- Perform schedule maintenance (e.g., will call list, outdates, etc).
- Perform rebilling process (e.g., insurance etc).
- Maintain will call area clean, neat, and organized to ensure efficient customer service.
- Efficiently inputs refills for patients.
- Accurately maintains register and cash box cash amounts.
- Job duties require specific knowledge and training in Pharmacy Assistant, typically acquired during on-the-job training with a duration of up to a year.
- Must be able to obtain a Washington State Pharmacy Assistant certification.
- Bilingual Spanish/English required.
- Must have reliable transportation and provide documentation of auto insurance and valid driver's license as required.
- Travel between work sites is required as needed.
