About this position
Summary: Lead day-to-day operations of a retail branch, ensure member service excellence, meet business and lending goals, manage staff, maintain compliance and risk controls, and support community/member growth initiatives.

- Oversee branch operations: teller functions, account openings/closings, cash management, vault balancing, and security procedures.
- Deliver exceptional member service and resolve escalated member issues.
- Lead, coach and develop branch staff; recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate performance.
- Drive sales goals for deposits, loans, referrals, and cross-selling products; develop local business and community relationships.
- Monitor branch financial performance, budgets, and metrics (sales, delinquencies, expense control).
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, credit union policies, BSA/AML, and exam readiness.
- Manage risk controls, audits, and corrective action plans.
- Prepare reports for Regional/Operations management; implement corporate initiatives at the branch level.
- Represent the credit union at community events and outreach activities.
- Drive community events to get maximum exposure to our brand.
- 3–5+ years retail branch experience in banking or credit union; 1–3 years supervisory/managerial experience.
- Proven track record meeting sales and service targets; familiarity with consumer lending and deposit products.
- Solid knowledge of compliance (Reg CC, Reg E, BSA/AML), procedures, and internal controls.
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to analyze branch performance metrics and develop action plans.
- Proficiency with core banking (Episys) systems, Office 365; willingness to learn credit union-specific platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience accepted.
